基于线调频小波分维的红外图像边缘检测

         

摘要

根据小波变换与分形理论在认识事物的本质上都是基于从总体向局部、从宏观向微观的自相似原理,以及线调频小波理论原理,提出一种以线调频小波作为标尺来定义分维数的思想,将线调频变换看作是用线调频小波标尺对信号进行度量,建立一种以信号的细节分量之和作为度量参数的线调频小波分维数.应用线调频小波分维数对红外图像进行边缘提取,实验结果表明该方法简单有效、优于传统的几种边缘提取算子.%In this paper, chirplet is used as a tool to define fractal dimension, because of self-similitude of cognizing inbeing of things from collectivity to local, from macroscopic view to microcosmic view, in fractal theory and chirplet transformation. Chirplet fractal dimension is defined as the sum of high-frequency components of decomposed signals, and then the dimension is used to extract the edge of infrared(IR) image.The experimental results show that this novel algorithm is straightforward and effective to detect the image details, which is better than other conventional operators. Meanwhile, the noise in IR image is diminished by using chirplet decomposition.
