This paper analyses the principle of SIFT algorithm in depth,according to the most time consuming part of SIFT algorithm,puts forward a SIFT vector generating ASIC structure that can satisfy the requirement of real-time processing.The structure prospered can not only meet the real-time performance of feature vector generation operation,but also make full use of the hardware structure to achieve minimize hardware idle rate,which achieved the balance of performance,power consumption and chip area.The experiments show that the structure retains the original software algorithm good invariance and robustness,and can meet the real-time vector generating tasks of 1024 * 1024 size image at the rate of frames per second.%文中深入分析SIFT算法原理,针对SIFT算法中最耗时的特征向量生成比分,提出满足实时性要求的ASIC结构.该结构不仅可满足特征向量生成操作的实时性,同时充分利用硬件结构特点最大限度降低硬件空闲率,以达性能、功耗和面积的平衡.实验表明,该结构在保留原始软件算法良好的不变性和鲁棒性的同时,可实现1024*1024大小图像特征向量实时生成任务.
