PURPOSE: An apparatus for separately collecting waste with image processing technique is provided to separately collect waste by controlling the opening and closing of an inlet cover of a waste collecting box according to the types of the waste determinate by an image processing technique.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for separately collecting waste with image processing technique comprises multiple collecting boxes(11a-11e), multiple inlet covers(12a-12e), multiple identifying cameras(13a-13e), a control box, and an inlet cover driving unit(15). The collecting boxes separate and store waste according to the types of the waste. The inlet covers respectively open and close the inlets of collecting boxes. The waste to be inputted is piled up on the inlet covers. The identifying cameras are arranged above the inlet covers to take a photograph of the waste piled up on the inlet covers. The control box determines the types of the waste by processing the images of the waste photographed by the identifying cameras. The control box determines whether or not the types of the waste to be collected are matched with the types of the collecting boxes.
