通过文献资料、问卷调查、专家访谈、数理统计、逻辑分析等研究方法，针对河南省高校体育艺术类专业中体育舞蹈方向的发展现状进行调查分析，找出影响河南省高校体育艺术类专业（体育舞蹈方向）发展的因素，提出合理化建议，为河南省高校体育艺术类专业（体育舞蹈方向）发展提供理论依据。体育舞蹈自从作为艺术类高考项目以来，深受河南省高校和学生的喜欢；但河南省高校对于体育舞蹈专业课程的设置不够合理，高水平体育舞蹈专业教师严重缺乏，教师趋于年轻化，职称结构不合理；高校没有统一的体育舞蹈协会组织，严重影响了学生参与比赛的积极性。%Through literature, questionnaire, expert interviews, mathematical statistics, logic and other research methods, the investigation and analysis of the current development in Henan Province Art College Sports Specialty sports dance direction , which designed to identify the factors that affect college sports art (sports dance direction) of Henan province, then make rationalization proposals to provide a theoretical basis for the college sports art (sports dance direction) in Henan Province. It is popular for universities and students since sports dance as an art college entrance examination projects, however, it is unreasonable of the course set, a serious lack of high-level sports dance teacher, teachers tend to be younger, title structure is irrational nor there is no uniform sports dance associations , which seriously affected the enthusiasm of students to participate in competitions.
