The soil and tobacco leaf samples were collected from tobacco-planting counties in Baise city of Guangxi,and the contents and characteristics of magnesium(Mg) in tobacco-planting soils and tobacco leaves were studied to provide references for balancing the fertilization and the development of high-quality and special tobacco leaves.The results showed that the exchangeable magnesium contents in tobacco-planting soils were relatively low with an average of 0.84 cmol/kg.The magnesium contents of more than 50% soil samples from all tobacco-planting counties were found in the range of 0.5~1.0 cmol/kg.The magnesium content in tobacco leaves was found to be low with an average of 0.17% and 30% degree of variation,and that collected from most of the tobacco-planting counties was found to be deficient.The magnesium content of 80% tobacco leaf samples collected from Jingxi,Debao,Lingyun,Xilin county was deficient.Therefore,applying magnesium-containing fertilizers must be recommended for tobacco growing areas of Baise city to improve the tobacco yield and quality.%为指导百色烟区土壤平衡施肥及优质特色烟叶开发,从广西百色各植烟县采集有代表性的土壤及烟叶样本,研究百色烟区土壤含锾状况及烟叶镁素特征.结果表明,百色烟区土壤交换性镁含量较低,平均为0.84 cmol/kg,且集中分布在0.5~1.0 cmol/kg范围.百色烟区烟叶含镁量也较低,平均为0.17%左右.各植烟县烟叶含镁量大多处于低至缺范围,其中靖西、德保、凌云、西林4县缺乏程度高达80%以上.因此,建议加强含镁肥料施用对烤烟产量及品质效应的研究,以提高烟叶产量、改善烟叶质量.
