为选育丰产稳产性好、抗逆性强、适宜贵州山区种植的玉米新品种,以自育自交系 H59为母本、H11为父本组配育成杂交玉米新品种蓉科玉789(HM01组合)。2008-2009年该组合在贵州省东部 A组玉米区域试验中,平均产量为8787.0 kg/hm2,比对照(遵玉3号)增产8.46%;2009年在贵州省东部 A组玉米生产试验中,平均产量为7810.5 kg/hm2,比对照(遵玉3号)增产1.39%。蓉科玉789株高273 cm,穗位高121 cm,果穗长筒型,穗长19.7 cm,穗行数16.1行,籽粒黄色,半硬粒型,穗轴白色,百粒重35.8 g;粗蛋白质含量为9.27%,粗脂肪含量5.64%,粗淀粉含量73.36%,赖氨酸含量0.32%,籽粒容重742 g/L;抗大斑病、小斑病、纹枯病,中抗茎腐病和玉米螟,于2011年6月通过贵州省农作物品种审定委员会审定,并定名为蓉科玉789。%Rongkeyu 789,a new maize hybrid variety with good high and stable yield,strong stress resistance and wide adaptability in Guizhou mountainous area was bred from the hybrid combination of H59 (an inbred line)× H11.The average yied of Rongkeyu 789 was 8 787.0 kg/hm2,8.46% higher than Zunyu 3 in maize regional test of eastern group,Guizhou during 2008-2009 and the average yield of Rongkeyu 789 was 7810.5 kg/hm2 ,1.39% higher than Zunyu 3 in maize production test of eastern group, Guizhou in 2009.Rongkeyu 789 with 273 cm height,121 cm ear height,19.7 cm ear length,16.1 ear rows,yellow seed,semi-hard type,white cob,35.8 g 100-seed weight,9.27% crude protein content,5. 64% crude fat content,73.36% crude starch content,0.32% lysine content,742 g/L seed volume-weight,resistance to northern leaf blight,southern leaf blight,sheath blight and moderate resistance to stem rot and maize borer was approved by Guizhou Crops Variety Examination Committee in June,2011.
