Although relevant studies on the social mobility of migrant workers have been widely carried out in the academic sphere at home , insufficient attentions are paid to the studies of the change of social sta-tus of minority migrant workers in the course of social mobilization .Borrowing the concept of "social dis-tance", this paper studies the major problems that the ethnic minority migrant workers are facing , such as the change of social status , economic income , political status of the ethnic migrant workers lag behind the change of occupation , the most important indicator of the stratification and status of social members .It holds that the main reasons leading to the backward of ethnic minority migrant workers socially are the dual struc -tures of dichotomy , the urban-rural dichotomy and the Han -minority dichotomy.%农民工社会流动的相关研究已在我国学界普遍展开, 然而对少数民族农民工社会流动过程中社会地位变迁的研究则关注不多. 文章借用 "堕距" 这一概念, 探讨了少数民族农民工社会流动面临的主要问题: 职业作为最能体现社会成员阶层地位的外在表征, 少数民族农民工社会流动堕距主要体现在社会身份变迁、 经济收入变迁、 政治地位变迁均落后于职业变迁. 城乡二元结构和汉族—少数民族二元结构的双重规制是造成少数民族农民工社会流动堕距的主要原因. 少数民族享受的超国民待遇如何在城市这一时空范围内实施和推进, 对推进少数民族农民工社会流动的意义重大.
