The collection of mascots conveys information on the home planet shared by all human beings, the achieve- ments of human civilizations, peace and progress in anticipation, revealing the concept of ＂humanistic, harmoni- ous, green, and innovative Olympics＂ and indicating an advancing nation＇s resolve to promote harmony by carrying forward the Olympic spirit. The paper comes to the conclusion that the Beijing Olympic mascots, featured by ap- pealing designs, enhance the values of prosperity, harmony, peace and progress by focusing on the theme of modern Olympic Games. This leaves rich Olympic Heritage for the world.
