The F.E.M with moving grid is effective to solve evolution equations. On this topic, there have been a considerable amount of papers, both theoritical and experimental, such as [1]-[5]. However, the problem considered in those papers are all parablic equations. In this paper, the F.E.M with moving mesh for secondorder hyperbolic equation is studied. A discrete scheme is constructed by introducing tow class of projective processes and the H1-error estimate for the scheme considered here is established.
