The Chinese have come into an era unconsciously in which capital had shaped their livings during the past thirty years of reform and opening-up. Capital is also a realistic problem that we must face directly and bravely when we attempt to resolve difficult problems in order to carry out scientific outlook on development. Karl Marx had profoundly and fully uncovered the essence and the role of capital in terms of his practical philosophy and historical materialism. All kinds of new ideas about development reflected the conscious reflections upon the capital’s civilization and conscious claims for sublating this civilization. In the era of capital domination,the scientific development we can pursuit is limited. In order to transform capital from a blind and spontaneous power to conscious power that can be controlled by the logic of human being’s development,we must reject every kind of views which denies or safeguards abstractly the modernity without considering the actually historical movement.
