Jean Dunand, one of the most remarkable artists and designers in Art Déco period, was based on his ingenuity and created colorful lacquer art after mastering the basic techniques from his Japanese tutor Seizo Sugawara. With his own high technical and aesthetic standards, Jean Dunand designed inner decorations, lacquer furniture and objects that exempliifed the sophisticated taste of Art Déco.
