Objective To explore the application value of damage control surgery operation in treating severe abdominal trauma.Methods From January 2000 to March 2013, 82 patients with abdominal trauma in our hospita1 were analyzed retrospectively. 34 of 82 cases were operated with damage control surgery (DCS group),48 cases were given deterministic operation, two groups were all severe abdominal trauma patients. The incidence of complications and mortality rate were compared between damage control surgery and a deterministic operation. Results The mortality rates of group control and group DCS were respectively 35.4%,14.7%,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Total complication rates of group control and group DCS were respectively 31.3%,32.4%, the difference was no significant (P>0.05).Conclusion The damage control surgery can reduce the mortality rate of patients with severe abdominal trauma and improve effectively pronosis.%目的：探讨损伤控制手术在严重腹部创伤救治中的应用价值。方法回顾性分析2000年1月-2013年3月82例严重腹部外伤的患者资料，行损伤控制性手术34例（DCS组），确定性手术48例，比较两组的死亡率和总并发症发生率。结果确定性手术组、DCS组病死率分别为35.4％、14.7％，差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)；确定性手术组、DCS组总并发症发生率分别为31.3％、32.4％，差异无统计学意义(P＞0.05)。结论 DCS能有效降低严重腹部创伤患者的病死率，改善患者预后。
