论大学的基因

摘要

There are four academic traditions which can be regarded as the genes of the university:the first one is the creation of a model for running universities around the world;the second is that the probe into Logos seeks for,proves and guides the pursuit of knowledge realm by human beings and promotes the development of rational thinking and the concomitant science;the third is laying a solid foundation for academic dissemination and communication,originally through Latin language;the forth is the freedom, autonomy and self-esteem of the academic community.%大学有四大学统可谓之基因：一是为全球大学开创了大学办学模式；二是对逻各斯之探索，追求、证明、引领了人类对知识领域的不倦探索，极大地促进了理性思维及其相伴生的科学发展；三是奠定了自拉丁文发轫的学术传播、交流传统；四是为学术共同体之自由、自治、自尊。
