学习型城市理念由来已久，并在各国进行了卓有成效的实践。西欧的步伐俨然走在了世界的前列，亦取得了丰硕的成果。爱尔兰作为其中一员，也在不断进行探索，尤以利默里克市为典型。爱尔兰的探索是建立在坚实的政策导向、温情的人文关怀、有效的沟通机制以及开放的国际交流基础上的。本文介绍爱尔兰特别是利默里克学习型城市建设基本情况，将有利于从中汲取有益经验，从而推动我国相关实践的开展。%The concept of learning city enjoys a long history and has effective experiences world-wide. It develops faster and is more fruitful in Western Europe. Ireland is no exception,and Limerick city is a good example. The exploration of Ireland s built on a solid policy guidance,the warmth of humanistic care,effective communication mechanism and the basis of open international communica-tion. This paper gives a brief introduction of the learning city construction in Irish( Limerick city), which is beneficial and conducive to the development of related practice in China.
