对于串口服务器的应用领域环境恶劣、实时性和稳定性要求高,提出一种基于MPC8280处理器的串口服务器软、硬件设计方案。将UART转PCI专用芯片XR17D158作为从设备挂载到MPC8280的PCI总线上,可以扩展出8路UART接口的串行数据通过PCI总线传送到MPC8280主控端。将该设计应用在造纸工业的纸卷输送包装智能控制系统中,结果表明,该串口服务器可在工业环境中稳定运行,能够控制多路串口设备,实现远距离实时数据传输。%Since the serial port server has harsh application environment,and its real-time and stability performances are high as well,we present an MPC8280 processor-based software and hardware design scheme for serial port server.The UART is converted to PCI chip XR1 7D1 58 and used as the device to mount on PCI bus of MPC8280,it can transfer the serial data of the extended eight UART interfaces to MPC8280 host through PCI bus.Applying our design to intelligent control system of paper roll feeding and packaging in papermaking indus-try,results show that the serial port server can gain stable operation in industrial environment,control multiple equipments with serial port, and achieve real-time distance data transmission.
