摘要

In recent years photocatalytic oxidation has received considerable attention as an alternative remediation technology since the method offers a number of advantages over conventionaltechnologies. Elimination of organic pollutants in water by oxidation with molecular oxygen and sunlight is the most environmentally friendly pollution-treatment method. Of the materials being developed for photocatalytic applications,titanium dioxide (TiO2) remains the most promising because of its high efficiency, low cost,chemical inertness, and photostability.
