OBJECTIVE: To develop a new 3-dimensional image reconstructing technique and provide information for the computer aided teaching and research of pharmacognosy. METHODS: Two kinds of 3-D surface reconstruction algorithm based on triangulation and NURBS curved surface respectively, as well as a 3-D display software based on SGI real-time boardset were presented to achieve the computer 3-D reconstruction and animated display of their serial cross-sectional images of Radix Curcumae. By means of computer-aided image analysis, some morphological parameters of Radix Curcumae were measured. RESULTS: The computer 3-D reconstruction model image were animated, emulated and full of stereoscopic effects, and their morphological parameters of Radix Curcumae were offered. CONCLUSION: The techniques of computer 3-D reconstruction and display as well as computer image analysis are feasibie in pharmacognosy and analtomy.%目的:为计算机辅助生药学教学和科研提供新的三维图像技术和资料。方法:采用三角形面元及NURBS(非均匀有理B样条)曲面重建算法并借助SGI三维实时图形卡,实现郁金类中药形态计算机三维重建与动态显示。运用计算机图像定量分析系统,测定郁金类中药有关形态学参数。结果:开发建立了郁金类中药三维重建模型图像及其形态学参数系统。结论:计算机三维重建与显示在生药学和解剖学教学和科研中科学可行,具有良好的应用前景。
