Objective To study the status of folic acid supplementation of periconceptional women living in Qianyang County and related factors affecting folic acid supplementation , so as to provide basis for service of folic acid supplementation . Methods Quantitative method and qualitative method were used. Women who delivered during last 3 years were surveyed by structured questionnaire . Individual interview was applied to women who were in hospital for delivery and mothers of children under 2 years old. Results The rate of folic acid supplementation among women in rural areas was 38. 2% , and 8. 5% women took folic acid 3 months prior to conception. Folic acid supplementation was associated with factors such as women 's educational level ( OR = 2. 11,P = 0. 004) , number of antenatal care checks (OR = 1.51 ,P =0. 011), time of first antenatal care check ( OR = 1.62 ,P = 0. 020) , etc. Reasons for not taking folic acid included "Nobody has told me that I should take folic acid " , "I think folic acid is a kind of drug and I am afraid of its side effects " , "I think it's unnecessary to take folic acid ". Conclusion The rate of taking folic acid among women in Qianyang County is relatively low . The utilization of antenatal care check is associated with folic acid supplementation . It is suggested to utilize antenatal care and pre-marital check , and to increase the rate of folic acid supplementation through multisectoral cooperation .%目的 了解陕西省千阳县围孕期妇女叶酸增补情况及叶酸增补的影响因素,为有效开展增补叶酸的工作提供依据.方法 采用定量和定性研究结合的方法,对千阳县近3年分娩的948名妇女进行问卷调查;对就诊于县级医院的孕产妇和2岁以内儿童的母亲进行了个人访谈.结果 ①农村妇女孕期的叶酸增补率为38.2%,8.5%的妇女从孕前3个月开始增补叶酸;②多元Logistics回归结果 显示,妇女教育水平高中及以上vs小学及以下(OR=2.11,P=0.004)、产检次数≥5次vs＜5次(OR=1.51,P=0.011)、早孕期进行首次产检vs中晚孕期进行首次产检(OR=1.62,P=0.020)等因素与叶酸增补有关;③不增补叶酸的原因包括"没有人宣传过要吃叶酸"占62%、"认为叶酸是药,害怕有副作用"占47%、"觉得不需要吃叶酸"占21%等.结论 千阳县妇女的叶酸增补率较低,产前检查利用与叶酸增补有关.建议充分结合产前检查及婚前检查服务,多部门合作提高人群叶酸增补率.
