一种基于空间相关性的无线传感器网络MAC协议

     

摘要

在大规模无线传感器网络中传输的监测数据具有较大的空间相关性,数据的传输存在一定冗余.如何有效的减少冗余数据的传输来改善网络性能成为一个重要的研究课题.本文以环状空间相关性模型为基础,从节点的筛选策略研究入手,提出一种能量高效的无线传感器网络MAC协议SEMAC.SEMAC协议采用信号强度优先的节点选择算法和冲突避免机制以减少冗余数据的传输;数据包在多跳传输中优先传输以降低数据包的传输时延.仿真结果表明SEMAC协议比CC-MAC协议更加有效地降低了网络能耗与传输延时,提高了网络的吞吐率,并具有较好的重建失真度.%Date transmitted in large scale wireless sensor networks is highly spatial correlated resulting in transmission of redundant data. It is an important topic to reduce transmission of redundant data for improving network performance. Based on circular spatial correlation model,we investigate the ways of selecting sensor nodes and develop an energy efficient MAC protocol, referred as SEMAC. SEMAC adopts priority node selection algorithm according to node' s signal strength and collision avoidance mechanism so that transmission of redundant data is prevented while prioritizes the transmission of route-thru packets. Simulation results show that our protocol achieves higher performance than CC-MAC protocol in terms of energy consumption,transmission delay, packet delivery rate and reconstruction distortion.
