基于极地近岸海洋环境监测系统的南极长城湾生态环境变化初析

         

摘要

Preliminary analysis of basic environmental and chlorophyll a concentration data at Great Wall Bay near Chinese Great Wall Station, King George Island, western Antarctica, was carried out, using monitoring data recorded from December 13, 2010 to March 22, 2011 by the Poalr Coastal Marine Environmental Monitoring System (PC-MEMS ). Results show that the water temperature increased in general in this period, but was affected by fresh-water inflow, and that the salinity decreased in general. Water temperatures varied between 0. 271 and 2. 52℃ ,and there were obvious peaks in mid-January and late February. Salinities ranged from 33. 86 to 34. 19, and there were marked minima in early January, mid-January, late February and early March. Chlorophyll a concentrations increased rapidly from the beginning to the end of December, after which they remained relatively high. There were three peaks in the observation period, which occurred in late December, mid-January and late February. The maximum chlorophyll a concentration was 4. 22 μg/L on January 14. There was a significant correlation between the chlorophyll o concentration and water temperature. Basic data analysis and comparison with historical monitoring data obtained with traditional methods show that the PCMEMS, as a new polar marine environmental monitoring tool, operates successfully and is reliable. Combined with the traditional methods, the PCMEMS can carry out fine environmental monitoring in polar coastal waters.%利用中国首次在南极长城湾海域布放的极地近岸海洋环境监测系统,以2010年12月13日至2011年3月22日期间获得的监测数据为例,对该海域基本环境参数和叶绿素α含量变化进行了初步分析.结果表明,温度变化在12月至1月中旬呈明显上升趋势,之后存在一定的波动;而受夏季陆地淡水输入的影响,盐度的总体变化呈波动下降趋势.观测期间温度的变化范围为0.27-2.52℃,在1月中旬和2月下旬分别出现明显峰值;盐度变化范围为33.86-34.19,在1月初、1月中旬、2月下旬以及3月上中旬出现明显的低峰值.叶绿素a含量在观测开始至12月底迅速上升,而后一直维持在一个相对较高的水平.在观测时间内分别在12月底、1月中旬和2月下旬出现峰值,最高值达4.22 μg· L-1.叶绿素α含量与水温存在明显的相关性.初步数据分析及与历史监测数据的对比分析表明,研发并在长城湾布放的极地近岸海洋环境监测系统作为一种新型的极地海洋环境监测工具稳定、可靠,与传统监测方法的结合可实现对南极近岸海域环境的精细监测.
