Objective To investigate the effect of catgut implantation at acupoints on sIgE IL-4, IL-10, sIgE and INF-γ, as well as its mechanism in a rat model with allergic rhinitis. Method Ovalbumin (OVA)- sensitized rats were randomly assigned into three groups. After two weeks of catgut implantation at acupoints in the experimental group, serum samples were collected. The levels of IL-4, IL-10, sIgE and INF-γwere measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method. Result ①Serum IL-4, IL-10 and sIgE were significantly increased in the model group in comparison with the blank group (P<0.05); INF-γ also increased in the model group, but without significant difference (P>0.05). ②Serum IL-4, IL-10 and sIgE decreased significantly in experimental group in comparison with the model group (P<0.05), but there were no significant difference compared with the blank group (P>0.05);INF-γincreased significantly, in comparison with the blank model group (P>0.05). Conclusion The catgut implantation at acupoints might improve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis by regulating the level of serum IL-4, IL-10, sIgE and INF-γ.%目的:探讨穴位埋线对变应性鼻炎实验动物外周血清的sIgE、IL-4、IL-10、INF-γ水平的影响及其作用机制。方法用卵清蛋白(OVA)建立AR大鼠模型,实验组大鼠穴位埋线后2周,处死动物采血,取血清送检。用酶联免疫吸附试验法(ELISA法)对各组大鼠外周血清sIgE、IL-4、IL-10、INF-γ变化进行观察。结果①模型组大鼠外周血清sIgE、IL-4、IL-10水平明显升高,与空白组相比有明显差异(P<0.05);INF-γ水平升高,与空白组相比没有明显差异(P>0.05)。②实验组大鼠外周血清sIgE、IL-4、IL-10水平显著下降,与模型组相比有统计学意义(P<0.05),与空白组相比没有显著差异(P>0.05);INF-γ水平显著升高,与空白组、模型组相比有显著差异(P>0.05)。结论穴位埋线可以通过调节变应性鼻炎大鼠血清sIgE、IL-4、IL-10和INF-γ水平,调节Th1/Th2水平,改善变应性鼻炎症状。
