钴离子掺杂铝酸锌透明微晶玻璃的制备和光学特性

     

摘要

The transparent Co2+:ZnAl2O4-SiO2 block glass ceramics with doping of transition metal ions Co2+were synthesized by sol-gel method. The DSC-TG, X-ray diffraction, Fourier infrared spectrometer and visible and near-infrared absorption spectra were performed to study the microstructure and the optical properties of glass ceramics. The results show that the average size of the ZnAl2O4 nanocrystals is 12−14 nm. The glass ceramics exhibit a broad absorption band in the range of 1200−1600 nm. And the absorption coefficient enhances with the increase of heat-treating temperature, which is characteristic of4A2→4T1(4F) transition from the tetrahedral Co2+ ions. The absorption cross section reaches 1.15×10−19 cm2 when the heat-treating temperature is up to 1000℃, which means that it can be applied in the passive Q-switch turnable laser.%用溶胶−凝胶法制备透明的钴离子掺杂铝酸锌块体微晶玻璃,采用差热−热重分析、X射线粉末衍射谱、傅里叶红外光谱分析和吸收光谱对热处理前后微晶玻璃的热学性能、显微结构以及光学特性进行了研究。结果表明:铝酸锌纳米晶平均晶粒尺寸为12~14 nm。在红外光吸收谱1200~1600 nm处有很强的吸收宽峰,对应四配位Co2+离子的4A 2→4T 1(4F)跃迁,且随着热处理温度的提高,吸收强度增强。通过计算,经1000℃热处理后样品的吸收截面系数为1.15×10−19 cm2,这表明微晶玻璃在铒玻璃激光器的被动调Q开关中具有潜在的应用前景。
