Improving medical students' calculation ability in statistics has become the focus and difficulty of medical statistics course teaching, and its application relies heavily on statistical calculation software. In order to explore a new teaching approach which combined the advantages of traditional method and web-based calculation, we intended to build a web computing platform applying the Browser/Server (B/S) mode based on the campus network, and to revise the current syllabus of medical statistics, as well as to create a virtual web-lab containing a typical case library. Practice has proved that the new mode effec-tively improved the practice capability of students and changed the traditional teacher-centered teaching approach.%提高医学生统计计算能力已经成为《医学统计学》课程教授的重点和难点,其应用实践主要依赖于统计计算软件。本研究尝试依托校园网,采用浏览器/服务器(B/S)模式结构建立Web计算平台,并重新修订《医学统计学》理论与试验教学大纲,建立虚拟网络实验室和典型案例库,探索Web计算和传统教学相结合的教学。实践表明,该模式改善了以教师为中心的被动学习状态,提高了学生解决实际问题的能力。
