Objective: To investigate the effect of disinfective mouth rinsing before oral treatment on air quality of dental clinics. Method: Two oral treatment rooms with same structure, equipment and volume were randomly designated rinsing group and control group. The patients in rinsing group were given Listerine? Mouth rinse to rinse their mouths for 30 seconds before oral treatment. The patients in control group were not given. Air samples were collected from treatment rooms before, during, and after oral treatment and cultured. The number of bacterial colonies formed was counted. Results: The number of bacterial colonies in rinsing group was statistically lower than that in control group during and after oral treatment (P<0.01). The number of bacterial colonies during treatment was statistically higher than before and after treatment in each group (P<0.01). However, no statistical difference was found between before treatment and after treatment in each group (P>0.05). Conclusion: The use of disinfective mouth rinsing before oral treatment could reduce the bacterial concentration in air of dental treatment rooms.%目的:探讨口腔治疗前患者使用消毒漱口液含漱对降低口腔诊室空气微生物污染的效果.方法:2间结构、设备,容积相同的诊室随机设为漱口组和对照组.漱口组患者在口腔治疗前使用消毒漱口液含漱30秒后再行口腔治疗,对照组在治疗前不采取任何干预措施.定点采集诊室口腔治疗前、中、后3个时点空气样本,进行细菌菌落计数.结果:漱口组在治疗中和治疗后两时间点细菌菌落计数分别为893.7和656.6 cfu/m3,低于对照组的1 406.0和938.0 cfu/m3,两组间细菌菌落计数差异有统计学意义(P＜0.01).漱口组与对照组组内不同时间点空气细菌菌落计数在治疗前和治疗后均低于治疗中(P＜0.01),治疗前与治疗后细菌菌落计数差异无统计学意义(P＞0.05).结论:口腔治疗前给患者使用消毒漱口液含漱的消毒方法,能有效降低诊室内空气中细菌菌落数量,是控制口腔科医院感染的可行措施.
