EDTA联合翻瓣术治疗牙周炎的疗效观察

AIM: To evaluate the effect of EDTA as adjunctive root surface conditioner to periodontal flaprnsurgery on the treatment of chronic periodontitis. METHODS; Twenty chronic periodontitis patients with probing depth (PD) 5 mm after 4 weeks of initial therapy were included in this study. PD, clinical attachment loss (CAL) and SBI were recorded before surgery. Flap surgery was conducted bilaterally from incisors to first premolars. After calculus and granulation was completely removed, the right side of the root surface was embrocated with EDTA for 3min , while the left side was rinsed by saline only (control). RESULTS: Three months after surgery, PD and CAL in experimental group were 3. 21 ± 1. 20mm and 2. 02 ± 1. 07mm, while those of the control group were 3. 74 ± 1. 80mm and 2. 48 ± 1. 23mm. Improvement of clinical parameters was significantly better in experimental group than in control group ( P < 0. 05). CONCLUSION: EDTA as root surface conditioner could improve the effect of periodontal flap surgery.%目的:评价EDTA联合翻瓣术治疗牙周炎的临床疗效.方法:选择经牙周基础治疗4周后探诊深度仍＞5 mm的慢性牙周炎病人20例,均以四个区中切牙至第一磨牙为翻瓣区,每例病人右侧为实验组,左侧为对照组.术前记录PD、CAL、SBI,术中先刮尽牙石、肉芽后,实验组以EDTA涂擦根面3 min,生理盐水冲洗、悬吊缝合.对照组仅冲洗缝合.结果:术后3个月,实验组和对照组的PD分别为(3.21±1.20)mm、(3.74±1.80) mm,CAL分别为(2.02±1.07) mm、(2.48±1.23)mm,实验组各项指标的改善均优于对照组(P＜0.05).结论:用EDTA处理根面能有效提高翻瓣术治疗牙周炎的疗效.
