Objective: To investigate the expression of P16, P53, and CyclinDl protein in low-grade and high-grade ovarian serous carcinoma and its clinical significance. The clinical data and pathological findings were analyzed. Methods: Fourty five cases of ovarian serous carcinoma (19 cases of low-grade and 26 cases of high-grade carcinoma) and 25 cases of borderline ovarian serous tumors were selected. Immunohistochemical study of P16, P53, and CyclinDl was performed in all 70 cases. Results: The high-grade serous carcinoma had a significantly higher expression level of P53 ( 69% versus 5% ), while low-grade carcinoma had a significantly higher expression level of CyclinDl ( 89% versus 15% ). Significant differences were observed in the expression between P53 and CyclinDl. An inverse correlation existed between the expression of P53 and CyclinDl in tumor grade, r = 0.211. No difference was observed in the expression of P16 between low-grade and high-grade ovarian serous carcinoma ( 84% versus 92% ). Conclusion: P53 over-expression was more frequently detected in high-grade than on low-grade ovarian serous carcinoma. CyclinDl over-expression was more frequently detected in low-grade ovarian serous carcinomas. Conventional high-grade serous adenocarcinoma is distinct from low-grade serous adenocarcinoma. P16 over-expression was detected more frequently in ovarian serous carcinoma.%目的:探讨卵巢高、低级别浆液性癌中P16蛋白、P53蛋白、CyclinD1蛋白的表达情况及意义.方法:应用免疫组化法对45例卵巢浆液性癌(低级别19例,高级别26例)及25例卵巢交界性浆液性囊腺瘤组织进行P16、P53、CyclinD1蛋白检测,并分析其意义.结果:P53在低级别癌中阳性表达率为5%,显著低于高级别癌中的69%(P<0.05),而CyclinD1在低级别癌中阳性表达率为89%,显著高于高级别癌中的15%(P<0.05),P53和CyclinD1表现为负相关(r=0.211).P16在低、高级别癌肿的阳性表达率分别为84%和92%,高级别癌阳性率高于低级别癌,但差异无统计学意义(P>0.05).结论:P53和CyclinD1在卵巢高、低级别浆液性癌中的表达有显著差异,对于形态上介于高、低级别之间的浆液性癌,二者可能成为分级的辅助手段.
