Objective To investigate the prevalence rate of atopic dermatitis ( AD ) in a representative community - based population of 0 to 6 - year - old children in Xinjing Community of Changning District of Shanghai. Methods Cluster sampling method was used to select 0 to 6 - year - old children from Xinjing Community. The parents of the children were asked to complete a questionnaire representing their children. William's criteria were used in the diagnosis of AD. Results A total of 3 766 out of 3 818 ( 98. 6% ) questionnaires were completed and collected. The children were proportionately distributed between genders among different age groups. Previous prevalence rate of AD among the children was 15. 3% , and no statistically significant difference was observed between genders ( male 16. 3% , female 14. 3% ) ( P >0. 05 ) The prevalence rate was the highest a-mong children in 1 to 2 - year age group. The point prevalence rate of AD was 13. 0%. Conclusion The prevalence rate of AD a-mong 0 to 6 - year - old children in Xinjing Community is negatively correlated with their age.%目的 了解上海市长宁区新泾地区0～6岁儿童特应性皮炎(AD)的患病率.方法 采取整群抽样方法,依据William's诊断标准,对上海市新泾地区0～6岁儿童进行问卷调查.结果 本次共调查上海市长宁区新泾地区0～6岁儿童3 818人,收回有效问卷3 766份,应答率为98.6%,调查人群的年龄在不同性别间分布均衡.经过对调查资料的分析,儿童AD的既往患病率为15.3%,男性既往患病率为16.3%,女性既往患病率为14.3%,不同性别间差异无统计学意义(P＞0.05).年龄分层统计显示患病率以1岁≤年龄＜2岁为最高.0～6岁儿童AD时点患病率为13.0%.结论 新泾地区儿童AD患病率随年龄增长而逐渐降低.
