With the advan,cement.of urbanization,the financial system in the rural areas calls for reform.The country’s financial sector has long been dominated by the state banks,which have understandably focused their businesses on profitable clients in major cities.However,the government has vowed to boost financial services for farmers,agriculture and the rural areas.It can be expected that related policies will be further expanded to tilt the financial sector so it meets the numerous and growing financing needs in rural areas.Statistics show that by the end of2012 the rural areas had 11.57 million of company settlement accounts。
