Mid-July Day in the lunar calendar marks a traditional festival for all ethnic groups in Guangxi province. Foggy dawn finds the Zhuang, Yao and Miao villagers on the green, lushly covered hillsides cooking breakfast porridge amid the spectacular scenery of Longji Terraces. Dawn of this festival day, in Longsheng Various Nationalities Autonomous County in Guilin.
