DR.Jeffrey E.Herrick,the lead author of UNEP’s first report on land evaluation,"Unlocking the Sustainable Potential of Land Resources,"was present at the global launch of the report in Beijing last June.Herrick works at the Agricultural Research Service of the United States Department of Agriculture(USDA),and serves as member of UNEP’s International Resource panel(IRP).
