腰果酚固体树脂的性能及其在摩擦材料中的应用

     

摘要

The fluidity, polymerization rate, content of free phenol, heat resistance and other properties of cashew phenol solid resin as well as its application in friction materials were observed. The results show that the mass fraction of water, free phenol, and sieve residue in the resin is ranging from 0.65% to 0.76%, 1.53% to 1.80%, and 2.86% to 3.20% respectively, and that of ash content at 850 ℃ is 2.90%-3.22%, furthermore, the fluidity is 33.54-35.60 mm, and the polymerization rate is 81-84s. The properties of cardanol solid resin such as the content of ash and free phenol are better than those of ordinary phenolic resin, the initial thermal decomposition temperature ( 309.5℃) of the material is much higher than that of ordinary phenolic resin (200.0 ℃), which shows good heat resistance. The application experiment of cardanol resin in friction material has received good results: the friction material produced by cardanol resin performs better in cohesive force, heat resistance, resistance to decomposition and toughness than those by phenolic resin, moreover, the friction performance of the product is stable, whose wear rate is reduced and impact strength improved.%研究了腰果酚固体树脂流动度、聚合速度、游离酚含量、耐热性等及其在摩擦材料中的应用。结果表明:腰果酚固体树脂中的水质量分数为0.65%~0.76%,游离酚质量分数为1.53%~1.80%,筛余物质量分数为2.86%~3.20%,850℃灰分质量分数为2.90%~3.22%,流动度为33.54~35.60mm,聚合速度为81~84s,其中,游离酚含量、灰分含量等多项性能优于普通酚醛树脂,其初始热分解温度(309.5℃)远高于普通酚醛树脂(200.0℃),具有良好的耐热性。在摩擦材料中的应用试验表明:用腰果酚固体树脂替代酚醛树脂生产的摩擦材料,在黏结力、耐热性、耐分解性及韧性方面均有明显的改善,且摩擦性能稳定,磨损率降低,冲击强度提高,具有很好的应用效果。
