The method of ATRP (atom transfer radical polymerization) was used to graft acrylamide on paper surface. Best conditions for graft polymerization were abstained: reaction temperature 90℃, reaction time 24h, the ratio of DMF to deionized water is 1∶1, and the grafting ratio reached 23.9% when the mole ratio of monomer to the catalyst is 100. The result of infrared analysis shows that the polyacrylamide has been successfully grafted onto the surface of the pulp ifbers. Adding the modiifed ifber to the slurry, shows that Zeta potential of the slurry gradually increases with the increase of the adding amount of the modiifed ifber, and the best strengthening effect in dry strength appears when the adding is at 6%of the modiifed ifber, with the dry tensile index increased by 42.9%.%运用AT R P(原子转移自由基聚合)法将丙烯酰胺接枝到纸浆纤维的表面,得出接枝聚合的最佳条件:反应温度为90℃,反应时间为24h,D M F与去离子水比例为1∶1,单体和催化剂摩尔比为100∶1,此时接枝率达到23.9%。通过红外分析证实了聚丙烯酰胺已经成功接枝到纸浆纤维表面。将改性过的纤维添加到纸浆中,结果表明纸浆的Zeta电位随着改性纤维添加量的提高逐渐升高,添加6%的改性纤维对提高纸页干强度效果最好,干抗张指数提高了42.9%。
