OBJECTIVE: To study anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of Bupleurum chinense and B. marginatum. METHODS : Anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects were observed by means of dimethylbenzene induced mice ear edema model and hot plate method. RESULTS: In ear edema test,B. chinense and B. marginatum(12 g·kg-1) could significantly inhibit the ear edema (P<0.01 or P<0.05), and could significantly extend the pain threshold(P<0.05). CONCLUSION: Both B. chinense and B. marginatum have anti-inflammatory and analgesic action.%目的:研究柴胡、竹叶柴胡的抗炎、镇痛作用.方法:采用二甲苯致小鼠耳廓肿胀法观察受试样品的抗炎作用;采用热板法观察受试样品的镇痛作用.结果:耳廓肿胀试验中,在12 g·kg-1剂量下,柴胡、竹叶柴胡可使模型小鼠耳肿胀度显著降低(P<0.01或P<0.05);热板法镇痛试验中,在12 g·kg-1剂量下,柴胡、竹叶柴胡可使小鼠的痛阈值显著延长(P<0.05).结论:柴胡、竹叶柴胡均具抗炎与镇痛作用.
