In September 2020,China put forward the“Dual Carbon Goals”strategy of“striving to achieve peak CO_(2) emissions by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060”,starting a new journey of China’s green and low-carbon development.Subsequently,specific measures and paths were proposed,such as“building a new power system with new energy as the mainstay”and“the proportion of non-fossil energy consumption will reach more than 80%by 2060”,and it was pointed out that achieving peak CO_(2) emissions and carbon neutrality is a complex,long-term and systematic project for which the relationships between development and emission reduction,overall and local,short-term and medium/long-term,and pollution reduction and energy security should be dealt with properly so as to eventually build a clean,low-carbon,safe and efficient energy system.
