The influence of teamwork on medical effectiveness is self-evident. The improvement of the ability of team cooperation contributes to enhance patient safety. This paper summarizes related concepts of team, team cooperation, ability of team cooperation and theory model of team cooperation and so on. The Alonso model is more successful than many other theory models of medical teamwork. Meanwhile, the TeamSTEPPS teamwork training based on it, is also the more successful training practice of enhancing patient safety in the world at present. However, different medical team must select training projects and adjust parameters according to the team feature so as to achieve an ideal effect.
