OBJECTIVE To observe the efficacy of Xiaosheng Powder on goblet cells.METHODS A total of 30 dry eye cases (60 eyes) were included and randomly divided into control group and powder group.Patients in former group were treated by sodium hyaluronate eye drops,one drop each time,four times a day.While participants in latter group were administrated with Xiaosheng Powder a bag each time,twice a day.This formula was mainly consisted of Baishao,Chaihu,Dangshen,Danggui,Wuweizi,Maidong,etc.Symptoms,break up time (BUT),Schirmer's test (SIT),fluorescein staining (FL),impression cytology (IC) of patients were observed and documented before and 4 weeks after treatment.RESULTS After the treatment,symptoms,and BUT,SIT,the number and grade of goblet cell and FL of granule group improved significantly (P＜0.05).For control group,improvement of symptoms,FL and the grade of goblet cell were of statistical difference (P＜0.05),while SIT,BUT and the number of goblet cell showed no significant variation (P＜0.05).Comparisons of these parameters listed above between two groups after treatment all demonstrated statistical difference (P＜0.05).CONCLUSIONS The Xiaosheng Powder relieved symptoms of dry eye,increased the tear secretion,prolonged BUT,elevated tear film stability,reduced apoptosis of goblet cell and alleviated ocular surface damage.%目的 评价逍生散对杯状细胞的影响.方法 符合纳入标准的30例(60只眼)干眼患者,随机分为对照组和中药组.对照组使用玻璃酸钠滴眼液,每次1滴,每日3次;中药组使用逍生散颗粒剂:柴胡、白芍、当归、党参、五味子、麦冬等.每日2次,每次1袋,温水冲服.观察并记录患者治疗前及治疗4周后的自觉症状、泪液分泌、泪膜破裂时间、荧光素钠染色、结膜印迹细胞学检查.结果 中药组患者在自觉症状、泪膜破裂时间、泪液分泌及角膜荧光染色、杯状细胞数量及等级方面具有较为明显的改善,与治疗前相比,差异均具有统计学意义(P＜0.05).对照组在自觉症状、角膜荧光染色、杯状细胞数量方面有改善作用,与治疗前相比,差异具有统计学意义(P＜0.05),而在泪液分泌、泪膜破裂时间、杯状细胞等级方面虽有所改善,但差异无统计学意义(P＞0.05).治疗后将中药组与对照组在自觉症状、泪膜破裂时间、泪液分泌、角膜荧光染色、杯状细胞数量及等级方面进行比较,差异具有统计学意义(P＜0.05).结论 逍生散颗粒剂可明显改善患者的自觉症状,增加泪液分泌量,延长泪膜破裂时间,提高泪膜稳定性,减少杯状细胞凋亡,减轻眼表损伤等作用.
