In this study, two of the most widely cultivated vegetable in Hainan,pepper and tomato were planted under soil culture conditions, changes of physiological indicators of the two crops were recorded under different waterlogging stress levels. The study found that the root vigor, transpiration and photosynthesis physiological activity weakened with the number of waterlogging stress days increased. Pepper roots began to rot after stress three days, and tomato was later a day than pepper. The root activity of the two vegetables was 1/3, and the net photosynthetic rate decreased to the control of 1/2. Under the stress of waterlogging stress, the transpiration rate of pepper was slight, but the rate of tomato decreased obviously, and it decreased quickly after root system decomposed. In conclusion, the tolerance of tomato to waterlogging stress is stronger than that of pepper.%本研究以海南栽培最广泛的两个反季节作物———辣椒和番茄为对象,在土培条件下,采用模拟涝渍胁迫的方式,研究了涝渍胁迫条件下两种作物的生理指标变化。研究发现:随着涝渍胁迫天数的增加,两种蔬菜的根系活力和光合、蒸腾等生理活动能力减弱。辣椒在胁迫3d后根系开始腐烂,番茄为4d;根系开始腐烂时,两种蔬菜的根系活力下降到对照的1/3左右,净光合速率下降到对照的1/2左右。涝渍胁迫初期,辣椒的蒸腾速率受影响不大,而番茄下降明显,根系腐烂后,两者蒸腾速率迅速下降。总之,番茄对涝渍胁迫的耐受能力强于辣椒。
