机助口试和传统面试的对比研究

本研究对比分析了一组非英语专业硕士研究生在计算机辅助口试和传统面试两种考试形式下各任务的成绩，结果发现机助口试比传统面试的信度和效度都高，机试中学生的口头陈述得分显著地高于面试，而提问和图片描述却显著低于面试，朗读成绩无显著差异。这些结果表明无交互性的口语考试任务采用机试完全可以取代面试，但一些任务还需进一步完善和改进。%The study compares students’performance in computer-assisted speaking test tasks and in oral interview. It was found that the reliability and validity of the computer-assisted test is higher than that of the oral interview. Students did much better in mini-talk and worse in asking questions and picture description of the computerized test, but did equally well in reading of the two test forms. This means that in measuring non-communicative speaking ability computer-assisted test can take the place of the oral interview, yet some tasks need further improvement.
