Application of ion chromatography in the analysis of arsenic species was reviewed with 25 refe rences .The methods for the determination of arsenic species with ion chromatography coupled with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry and atomic absorption/emission spectrometry were discussed emphatically.The methods for the determination of arsenic compounds with direct ion chromatographic techniques,such as conductivity,UV and amperometric detectors and ion exclusion chromatography was simply evaluated.
