The site is situated in the northwest of Zhangdamiao village in Dingshui town, Yanggu county, Shandong province. Discovered in 1992, it was excavated in 1993 by the Shandong Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology. The site is divided into a northern and a southern parts, and the main remains are the ruins of Northern Song period kilns revealed in the south. Among the unearthed objects are bricks, tiles, tile-ends and other structural members, as well as pottery and porcelain vessels.
