PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ruin excavation examination method with reduced workload in a field of excavation examination and obtaining shorter construction period in the ruin excavation work by having communication between a field worker and a ruin measurement diagram creator who is in a distant place smooth.;SOLUTION: A disclosed ruin excavation examination method in a field for carrying out excavation examination of a ruin includes: an excavation process; a white paint coating process; a picture photographing process; and a first image data transmission process. A workplace for creating a ruin measurement diagram includes: a first image data receiving process; an orthochromatic image generation process; a ruin measurement diagram creation process; and a second image data transmission process.
