To unravel the correlation between substrate moisture and physical properties by taking drying,natural dry and water wetting,the experiment was used substrate which were composited with peat,vermiculite and per-lite as material. The results showed that the moisture content of substrate affected the distribution characteristics of particle size and pore properties. The appropriate moisture was about 32.63% which could maintain appropri-ate physical structure,such as particle size uniform,stable distribution under packaging and transport links. When the substrate was used to seedling,the appropriate substrate moisture was at 32.63%~40.32%,and it could keep good porosity characteristics and volume number.%试验以草炭、蛭石和珍珠岩3种物料复合配制的育苗基质为材料,采取烘干、自然晾干、加水润湿措施,研究基质在含水量0~65.56%范围内自然垒结、饱和水和持水状态体积变化以及容重、比重、孔隙特性的变化相关性。结果表明,基质含水量影响基质颗粒粒径大小分布和孔隙特性;保持基质各级粒径均匀、稳定分布状态以及包装、运输环节维持基质物理结构的适宜水分为32.63%左右;应用基质育苗时,保持基质良好的孔隙特性和体积数量,其适宜的基质水分为32.63%~40.32%。
