佤族是一个睿智尚德的优秀民族，其传统伦理道德具有伦理道德和宗教及政治一体化、重道德实践轻理论建构、浓厚的家族主义色彩、崇尚团结、互助和爱国的价值取向等特点，对佤族地区社会、生态环境以及对云南边境民族地区“族际”关系和国家伦理认同有深刻影响。我们对包括佤族在内的民族传统伦理道德需心存“温情与敬意”，并从“延续民族文化”之中汲取营养。%Being an excellent ethnic group with wisdom and virtues,the traditional ethnic morality of the Wa people presents the following characteristics:integrating ethnic morality,religion and politics,valuing moral practice and paying less attention to theory construction,possessing strong sense of familism,advocating unity,helping each other and patriotism.These value orien-tations have exerted profound impact on the their community and ecological environment as well as the relationship between ethnic groups and national identity in the border minority areas in Yunnan province.Nowadays we should regard these traditional ethnic morals existing in the Wa people in warmth and respect,and draw nutrition from the process of continuing national culture.
