杨天石先生说，龙云是“抗战阵营内部的一颗未爆炸弹”，是西南“反蒋降日”的领头羊，这是站不住脚的。龙云作为地方实力派，是抗战时期的中间势力。地方实力派在民族危机、国家危亡的关键时刻，大多能顾全大局，以民族、国家为重，投入战斗，并非没有“是非、正义、民族、国家”观念的。龙云坚持抗战，是其一生的第一大功绩，他有着“光荣的爱国者的一生”的声誉。1940年龙云希望从江西撤军，不是为了“拥护汪伪政府”“通电主和”，而是实施滇南抗战，拒敌于国门之外，是为了更好地进行抗日战争。龙云所写《抗日战争前后的回忆》一文，并未“说谎”，总体上是可信的。例如，汪精卫说，龙云“完全同意”其“和谈”计划。而最新发现的档案材料记载，龙云曾“婉言相劝”，以至“言之泪下”。龙云不愧为坚持抗战、功勋卓著的爱国民主人士。%According to Mr.Yang Tianshi,Long Yun was an unexploded bomb,a bellwether who took a stand of opposing the Jiang administration and being subjected to Japan in the southwest of China during the anti-Japanese war period.This opinion is untenable.As a local strength,Long Yun was the middle power during the war.It was a fine tradition that most of the local strengths could always took the national and state interests into account,and actively joined into the battle in the critical moment of national crisis.Research shows that Long was worthy of his reputation of being“a glorious patriot”,with his firm standpoint in resistance against Japan.In 1940,Long Yun hoped to withdraw from Jiangxi,the purpose of which was not to support the“Wang puppet government”but to fight the anti -Japanese war in southern Yunnan,driving the enemy out of the borderland.Also, Long Yun's essay Recollections Before and After the War ofResistance against Japan is credible in general.For example,Wang Jingwei once said that Long “fully agreed”with the “peace talks”plan;however,according to the latest discovery of archival materials,Long had pleaded tactfully,even with tears.Thus it can be concluded that Long Yun was really a distinguished patri-otic and democratic personage.
