摘要

A non-linear controller was designed and implemented for a portable wind tunnel. The type of controller selected was dictated by the existing equipment of the wind tunnel. The non-linear controller was designed using simulation results. Since simulation was used for the design of the controller, a model of the wind tunnel with acceptable accuracy was needed. Therefore, the wind tunnel was modeled extensively. The model characteristic was compared to the actual system to determine its accuracy.;The control program for the wind tunnel was developed using the designed controller. The control program was tested under different conditions in order to determine its usefulness. Test results showed that the control program was able to perform satisfactorily in most conditions.
