Occupational stress levels among psychoeducational teachers in middle and southeastern Georgia were measured using the Teacher Stress Inventory. The purpose of the study was to investigate stress levels of psychoeducational teachers to determine if staff development activities, type of certification, and administrative support were significantly related to teacher stress. Certain background variables, such as age, gender, highest degree, total years teaching experience and EBD certification were also considered. The data analysis used in the causal-comparative study included simple descriptive statistics, multivariate analysis of variance, and analysis of variance. The study found that teacher perception of staff development opportunities and administrative support were significantly related to occupational stress levels.
