药品英文说明书的语类分析——基于语类结构潜势和语步结构理论

摘要

药品英文说明书成为当今世界进出口药品中不可或缺的组成部分，不仅是医生开处方的依据，而且为消费者提供了解病因和治疗方法。作为一种应用语言，经过长期的发展，药品说明书已经成为一种语体，具有独特的语类特点。国内现有大多数研究都侧重于语言表层特征，缺乏对药品英文说明书语篇宏观结构下深层语类特征的研究。本文试以语类分析理论为框架，从语类结构潜势和语步结构理论方面对药品英文说明书进行深层次的语类分析研究。
　　本研究在综述了国内外关于语类分析及药品英文说明书相关研究文献之后，根据已有相关研究与Swales和Bhatia的语步结构理论以及Hasan的语类结构潜势理论，通过随机选取50篇平时留心收集以及国内外药品网站上药品英文说明书作为语料进行分析，采用定性和定量分析相结合的方法，总结出药品英文说明书的语类结构，进而探讨其语类特征，并对其进行了详细的分析。研究分析结果表明:
　　一、药品英文说明书的交际目的为:告知消费者关于药物的相关信息，让消费者掌握药物的使用方法，建立信誉消费者关系，劝说消费者购买该类药品;
　　二、作者认为药品英文说明书共有13个语步，其中七个必要语步:药品名称、成分性状、药品使用、警示、管理方法、生产厂家、国家许可，其余六个为选择性语步:规格、不良反应、禁忌、药代动力学、药物过量、其它。除了药品名称的位置相对固定，其他语步的位置相对不固定;
　　三、药品英文说明书的语类特征，表现在交际特征上为4个方面:准确性、简洁性、权威性、互动性。在文化特征上表现为:中国特殊的中草药说明书，中国药品英文说明书和外国药品英文说明书在六个选择性语步上表现出的文化差异及说明选择性语步也具有较强的交际功能。
　　基于上述研究结果，本论文就理解和写作药品英文说明书具有理论与现实意义，证明了语类分析理论的适用性，有利于消费者全面理解阅读药品英文说明书，使药品生产厂家撰写出的说明书更确切的实现其交际功能。
