以泰特勒翻译三原则为指导对传统中医药介绍的英译研究

摘要

中医药学是中华民族经过数千年的医疗实践逐步形成并发展的一个独特的医学理论体系。中医药在全球的推广是广大中医药工作者和翻译者的期望与责任。中医药说明书的翻译对中医药的国际推广起着重要的作用。笔者认为中医药的推广依赖于中医文化的普及。中药说明书的翻译要重视其中所包含的中医文化理论的完整表达与传递，这样才能使译语文本读者完全理解中药说明书所传达的意思，收到与汉语文本读者一样的信息与感受，从而才能促进中医药的国际推广。本文主要研究如何在简短的中医药说明书的翻译中将传播中医文化与宣传中医药相结合；在实现中药说明书功能的同时不丢失原文信息。因此，本文采用英国翻译理论家亚历山大·弗雷泽·泰特勒―翻译三原则作为指导。泰特勒所提出的好翻译的定义与笔者的翻译目的与期望不谋而合。通过本文的论述也证明了泰特勒翻译三原则在翻译应用文体时的可操作性与实用性。　　本论文共包含了五个章节。第一章是开篇介绍。第二章是文献综述。第三章指明中医药说明书翻译的主要困难。第四章是主体部分。第五章是结论部分。　　作者希望本文有助于对中医文化的推广，提高对泰特勒翻译理论的认识。然而中医英译是一项艰巨漫长的事业，它需要更多有志者的参与，同时研究成果也需要时间的考验和沉淀。希望中医翻译事业得到各界参与者的支持和帮助，让我们为中医文化走向世界而共同努力。
