Summer Creel Survey of Otter Tail lake, Otter Tail County, Minnesota, 1995

Fisheries management decisions are based primarily on the data collected fromstandard lake surveys, population assessments, habitat monitoring and improvement projects and natural reproduction assessments. The purpose of the study was to document total angling pressure, harvest rates, average size and total harvest for various species present in Otter Tail Lake and compare this to previous creel survey data from 1983, 1984 and 1994. A second objective was to document tournament angling pressure on Otter Tail Lake.
