摘要

本文尝试从跨文化交际角度分析当前中国旅游业中导游词汉英翻译中存在的诸多问题并找出根源,结合导游词这一特殊文本类型和《走遍中国--中国优秀导游词精选》(综合篇)等代表性文献资料中的具体案例谈谈对导游词翻译应该遵循的特定翻译原则和具体翻译策略选择方面的浅显认识,以期引起翻译界更多人对这方面的重视和更深入研究,逐步改善中国导游词翻译质量,从而使国外游客能准确地感受中国特色文化,竭力避免国外游客入境旅游过程中可能发生的跨文化交际失误,最终达到传播中国文化、提升中国文化国际地位的目标.全文分为六部分: 第一部分为前言,概述了前人相关研究情况和本文创作意图及研究方法; 第二部分旨在明确本文研究对象为导游词汉英翻译,包括其笔译和口译并介绍了其综合特征; 第三部分为理论综述,具体阐释了跨文化交际要素概念及翻译要素概念及其对本文研究对象极具指导意义的相关理论,如功能主义目的论,关联理论等; 第四部分重点探讨了导游词翻译作为一种典型的跨文化交际翻译行为,如何在遵循一定翻译原则基础上达到成功交际的功能目标,即该文本翻译中具体策略选择的标准问题; 第五部分分析并归纳现有旅游翻译文本中常见错误及其产生根源并尝试运用已有理论提出解决办法: 最后一部分得出本文研究结论:导游词文本的特殊性不应被忽略:导游词译者应着眼于交际目的需要,坚持异化为主的策略,在准确传达源文本文化信息、外国游客为导向与坚持自身主体性地位之间寻求平衡,而要做到这一切,最重要的是具备一项综合素质--跨文化意识.
